The Aromatic Apothecary
A long time ago, an “Apothecary” referred to a person who had experience or ability in crafting medicines from herbs and substances. In the medieval history of medicine-making in Europe, the role was traditionally filled by men. Later on, an Apothecary came to represent a place, rather than a person, it became known as a storehouse of medicines, mostly herbs. Located outside of a medical establishment, it offered therefore an occupation open to women.
The Aromatic Apothecary is a storehouse of aromatic herbs, spices and essential oils …
A storehouse could contain all kinds of products, yet each container of self-care products should be custom-made using natural materials.
An anointing oil or body oil or salve, mist, balm, or face washing powder, and all the materials in the mixture of oils, waxes and/or essential oils, and/or ground herbs are carefully selected and combined. Such products are created for a natural affinity to your body, your skin, and your psyche.
I can assist you by co-creating your perfect scented solution.

This Apothecary is where you begin making scented herbal solutions.
Combining natural products is a pleasure, yet not always the easiest way to maintain a high level of personal care. Besides, some natural products will not last forever, some are perishable under the conditions of temperature and time. To find out more, write to me on the Contact page.
