“Aromatherapy is…

… the skilled and controlled use of essential oils for physical and emotional health and well-being.”

“Aromatherapy is …” quoted from Valerie Cooksley, aromatherapist and author.  Find this quote and more on National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists, website (NAHA). Link below.

And, Aromatherapy is an invitation
to experience scents, smells, aromas, and odors that may be therapeutic for you

Discover more about yourself and your reaction to smells, aromas and odors

Give yourself permission to access your sense of smell.  You can do this by taking a few moments a day, or as often as you can, to experience natural aromas.

Your sense of smell is your key to the natural world & its aromatic affect on you

Your sense of smell is so important.  Two examples are that it can help you define emotions and clarify your daily intentions. And much more.

Your sense of smell is important in acquiring new or re-living past experiences.  Intentionally chosing to smell oils as a form of therapy may be a new idea.  Smelling with a purpose such as aromatherapy suggests, may help you discover tremendous benefits and an emotionally calmer state of mind.

Beauty and Aromas

Both inner and physical beauty require our attention to be real.  Yet, we’ve grown up paying our attention outwards … to commercial ideals of beauty. Thus we think we’re not good enough as we are.

We all have many faces, and some are quite beautiful. Before we believe in ourselves, self-knowledge can increase self-confidence and a sense of our personal value. Beauty is a sacred expression of our inner selves.

Aromatherapy

Therapy with aromatic substances — Aromatherapy — is centered on the individual person, on those parts of you that recognizes smells, scents, and odors in daily life.  Naturally aromatic flowers, fruits, seeds, woods, resins, roots and leaves become your guides.  When this therapy is introduced to you by a qualified aromatherapist, it can become a healing modality for your sense of yourself.  And as well, aromatherapy works with other holistic approaches to increase holistic and long-lasting wellness.

4 Reasons to Seek Aromatherapy

My focus is on 4 major areas of concern that women are all too familiar with, although they may be common in men, too.  These are chronic pain, dry or problem skin, anxiety, and insomnia.  As negative influences they seriously undermine our quality of life.  Yet follow us around relentlessly.

A Range of Possibilites

Your scented advantage in well-being may be as simple and elegant as a restorative new scent or essential oil for meditation or quiet reflection. Or, it might put you in a holistic program that elevates your health overall.

In other words, choosing aromatherapy gives you a range of possibilities that can improve your current experience and well-being.  On this website, you can evaluate resources for well-being with guidance from an aromatherapist.

Aromatherapy customized just for you works best if you can intentionally exercise your sense of smell. A very easy and achievable process for this is explained in detail.
