I am Elizabeth Ruth-Abramian, aromatic practitioner, herbal alchemist and founder of Lotus Lady Aromatica.  I created this website as a place to make scented herbal solutions available to you. 

The scented herbal solutions I turn to come from plants, specifically herbs and plant parts that are aromatic.  I believe that being conscious of scent is a primary path to a state of balance and well-being. Even more, an awareness of our senses — touch, hearing, taste, sight, and smell — guides us towards achieving a healthy state of mind and body.

A bit of background on me: my life story is full of variety.  I’ve been known to research plants since my twenties, and yet I spent many years working in other fields. Early in my career, I worked as a graphic artist, then studied to be a landscape designer; next, I studied and then worked as a librarian for two collections, one in real estate and the other in maritime history. All those years were well-spent! and yet I yearned for the time to acquire knowledge about plants, specifically, herbs.  Then in 2018, I became enchanted with aromatherapy.  One year later, my encounter with essential oils and their healing potential led me to my first Certification in Aromatherapy.

Although it’s a life-long project, concentrating on herbs is just my cup of tea! I’m committed to the exploration of scented herbal remedies as a first choice for wellness. I love the search for a perfect scented herbal solution for wellbeing.
