Fire Spirit Herbs of Summer Anointing Oil is Soothing

To make it, blend essential oils by adding them one by one into a 1 ounce glass bottle with a pump or dropper top. Then pour in the carrier oil blend to fill the bottle to the neck.

Use organic oils whenever possible, such as Organic Jojoba Oil as a carrier oil to pour over the essential oil blend.  Otherwise, choose a mix of Jojoba and high oleic oils, such as Organic Avocado Oil or Argan (Argania spinosa). Other possibilities for carrier oils with low scent are Marula Oil.  A low percentage of Organic Olive Oil and Rosehip Seed oil would also work well for extra dry or aging skin.

To use:

Pump or drop a quarter-sized amount into one open palm. Rub palms together and breathe into these refreshing notes. Tap your oiled palms over your hands, arms, legs and/or feet. Then massage in the oil. Best after bath or shower but you can apply anytime.
